The Hudson River was a weekly series of half-hour radio. They celebrate the nature and culture of the Hudson River from its source in the Adirondacks to its mouth in New York City. There were 16 weekly, half-hour segments during the Summer broadcast season beginning in mid-May, 2003 through the first week in September. These programs continue to be available to stations for airing without charge.
Henry Hudson, English explorer for the Dutch West India Company, who journeyed up the Hudson River in 1609, and Robert Fulton, who navigated the Hudson by steamboat in 1807, are inextricably intertwined with the history of Westchester County.

Dutch Artists Complete Residency in Ulster County. In early September, eight Dutch artists arrived in Ulster County for their month-long residency, in time for the opening of the group show of their work at SUNY-Ulster on Sept. For the next month, they worked on projects at the various art venues where they were based, adapting their media and sensibility to the different environment of their temporary home.
